It is the sixth adventure of Lone
Wolf and the first of the Magnakai series. Lone Wolf is still the last survivor
of the Kai Lords, but now there is hope to rebuild the Order if he can find the
seven Lorestones of Nyxator that hold the wisdom for the disciplines he needs
to master and then pass on to future warriors. He knows the first stone he must
find is located in the city of Varetta in the south, and he travels there.
However, the journey will not be peaceful or easy. While the Lords of Darkness
may be embroiled in their civil war, they are not the only servants of evil
that exist, and all the dangers of a journey are nearby – thieves, criminals,
and even a war in the south!
As in the previous adventures, the reader is the hero, making decisions
and choosing which path to take. It is an adventure in a journey that adds
flavour and features one of the most likeable – and unjustly killed –
characters in the series.
