The Grand Master has barely
returned from his mission in distant southern Magnamund, where he recovered the
Claw of Naar, when a new quest awaits him. The evil Sejanoz, the tyrant of
Bhanar whom our hero had previously faced with retrieving the Claw, has
launched an invasion of neighbouring Chai. Now, he must escort the elderly
ruler of Chai, Xo-lin, to the city of Tazhan, where the ruler can summon his
allies to stand against the invasion.
It is a perilous journey, with
the invaders in pursuit of the old ruler’s caravan and enemies—both hidden and
in plain sight—seeking to harm him. A mission that will test our hero in every
possible way.
