This adventure of Lone Wolf begins where the previous one ended. He has
triumphed in Ixia, but suddenly, this victory threatens to come at a terrifying
price. The Kai Monastery has been attacked, and his young brothers-in-arms are
under siege. He must hurry to cross the distance that separates them to reach
them and help them face the deadly danger.
This journey of Lone Wolf has a nostalgic scent as we revisit areas that
our hero has been to before. Despite being quick, it is also filled with
dangers and includes encounters with old friends and enemies from the past. It
is also the first time since the first book that part of the action takes place
on the soil of Sommerlund.
