On October 15th, all people disappear, or almost all. There are people
left scattered who have to deal with problems of survival but also the sadness
and concern for those who are lost or hope to find somewhere alive. Some are
prepared for survival; some have no idea how to do it, some are ordinary
everyday people, and some are not. And they all quickly find that they are not
alone in the desert world; there are deadly new adversaries.
Writers have continuously published stories in sequels, and this style of
episodic television series is one of the best ways to do that. I admit I picked
this book up to see how the creators handle it as I have some plans for
something similar, but it held my interest with its vivid characters, the
fast-paced plot, and the mystery surrounding the whole affair.
It is recommended for fans of post-apocalyptic stories.
